Mara Biosciences

About

Building a resilient future for African health.

An African biotechnology venture designing antiviral peptides for diseases that have gone without treatment.

What we do

Mara Biosciences is an African biotechnology venture developing AI-guided antiviral peptide therapeutics for emerging infectious diseases. We combine computational biology, artificial intelligence, and wet laboratory science to accelerate therapeutic discovery for pathogens that have historically received limited commercial attention, starting with the Sudan ebolavirus, for which there is currently no approved drug.
